History of the Hospital

Shahid Ashrafi Hospital was excavated in 1977 for construction. From 1977 to 1980, the hospital's infrastructure was built. In late 1980, the land and semi-built building of the hospital were transferred from the ownership of the Red Crescent to the ownership of the Ministry of Health (currently the Ministry of Medical Sciences). This project was suspended from 1980 to 1984 due to post-revolutionary issues, and its construction contract was signed in mid-1984. In late 1985, the hospital was inaugurated by the mayor of the city and a delegation sent by the Ministry of Health. The building of this hospital is H-shaped and has three floors (basement, ground floor and first floor).

Ashrafi Hospital, with its special geographical location and history of activity in the field of treatment, relying on divine grace and valuable human capital as a general medical center in Khomeini Shahr city, in line with the announced policies of the Ministry of Health and Care and compliance with the Patient Rights Charter and considering the principle of patient safety, provides quality medical services and rapid treatment to emergency patients. It also provides medical services to maintain and improve the level of health and treatment of people, especially to patients with internal, internal neurological, infectious, pediatric, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT and urology problems.
